That channel is the ocean, so the water temps are up around 45 F or so. The snow melt fed stream (about 10 feet across) that we had to wade across to get to the ocean was good preparation and made the ocean feel warm!
Sunny day at the beach with snow-covered mountains in the background….can only be in Alaska! Fantastic. Sounds from yours and Dana’s blogs like spring arrived with avengeance.
And to think I skipped my swimming Monday because the pool temp was 62!
