Prince of Wales--Quick Visit
Matt and Allan Hall did a quick three day trip to Prince of Wales to do some bat research and figure out logistics for the longer July trip. We took the El Capitan USFS cave tour which was pretty fun (I recommend it). It was a successful trip with logistics figured out, batteries and fuel purchased, and two nights of bat recordings (Trocadero Creek and Turn Creek)--including working with Julia Bolland’s team from OSU who caught a Keen’s!
